The Huawei P50E, the company's latest product in the P50 series, was released in China on Wednesday. The new smartphone features a Snapdragon 778G 4G engine and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Huawei P50E has a 90Hz refresh rate display and a triple rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel main sensor. The new Huawei phone is also available in four different colours. The Huawei P50E has a 4,100mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.
Huawei P50E price, availability
The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the new Huawei P50E smartphone costs CNY 4,088 (about Rs. 48,900). The most expensive model, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, costs CNY 4,488. (roughly Rs. 53,600). In addition to Galaxy Blue, Obsidian Black, and Snow White, the Huawei P50E comes in Cocoa Gold. The newest Huawei handset is now available for pre-order. It will be available for purchase beginning March 24.

The Huawei P50E dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone runs HarmonyOS 2 and has a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,224 x 2,700 pixel) OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and a pixel density of 458ppi. The display includes a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, and it offers a P3 broad colour gamut. The Huawei P50E is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G 4G SoC, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Huawei P50E has a triple rear camera configuration led by a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. A 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/3.4 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS) capabilities are also included in the camera unit. Portrait mode, panoramic, time-lapse photography, micro movie, high pixel mode, super wide-angle, super night scene, and slow-motion are all supported by the back camera. Huawei has included a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.4 aperture for selfies. Selfie slow motion, smart wide-angle switching, portrait mode, panoramic mode, time-lapse photography, timed images, and other functions are also supported by the selfie camera. The phone has 128GB of internal storage that can be upgraded to 256GB using a NanoSD card.
Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, GLONASS, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, USB Type-C connector, and NFC are among the connectivity choices for the Huawei P50E. There is also a fingerprint sensor on board for authentication. Gravity sensor, hall sensor, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, proximity light sensor, camera laser focus sensor, and colour temperature sensor are among the other onboard sensors.
The Huawei P50E has a 4,100mAh battery that supports 66W rapid charging. Furthermore, the phone has an IP68 rating for water and dust protection. It has dimensions of 156.5x73.8x7.92mm and weighs around 181 grammes.
