On Geekbench, a HUAWEI device with the model number NOH-AN50 and the Kirin 9000L was discovered. The Mate 40E Pro 5G, as its name suggests, performs very similarly to the Dimensity 1200.

The single-core scores are around 900, while the multi-core scores are around 2,800, putting it in the upper mid-range by 2022 standards (via Huawei Central).

The Kirin 9000L is essentially a scaled-down version of the original Kirin 9000 and 9000E chipsets, with a slightly lower peak clock speed of 2.86GHz compared to the other two's 3.13GHz. Its GPU is also slightly less powerful, with the Mali-G78 having 18 cores as opposed to the Kirin 9000 and Kirin 9000E's 24 and 22 cores, respectively.

The chip's configuration includes 1x Cortex-A77 running at 2.86GHz, 2x Cortex-A77 running at 2.54GHz, and 3x Cortex-A55 running at 2.05GHz.

Last month, the Huawei Mate 40E Pro 5G went on sale in China for 6,700 Yuan (approximately $1,062) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant. It has a 6.76-inch OLED FHD+ display, a triple camera setup on the back, and a 4,400mAh battery with 66W super-fast charging support.
