Honor introduced the Snapdragon 680-powered Honor X8 cellphone earlier this month in Saudi Arabia. In Malaysia, the business has now revealed the more powerful Honor X9. The new Honor phone has a huge display with 120Hz refresh rate support, a Snapdragon 695 mobile platform, a 4,800mAh battery, and 48-megapixel triple cameras. The Honor X9 is the worldwide version of the Honor X30, which first appeared in China in December 2021.
Honor X9 specifications and features
The Honor X9 includes a 6.81-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole in the centre. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It sports a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and a 48-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) triple camera unit on the rear panel.
Under the hood of the Honor X9 is a Snapdragon 695 chipset. The gadget has 8 GB of RAM and 182 GB of storage space. It boots onto the Android 11 operating system, with Magic UI 4.2 on top. It has a 4,800mAh battery with 66W rapid charging capabilities.
It supports face unlock and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Other features supported by the gadget include dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB-C connector.
Honor X9 pricing and availability
There is currently no pricing information available for the Honor X9. When it becomes available, consumers will be able to purchase it in a variety of colours including Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, and Ocean Blue. According to rumours, the Honor X7 will also be released in foreign markets shortly. It's most likely a rebranded version of the Honor X30i, which is only available in China.
