In Malaysia, the Honor X9 5G has been quietly announced. The new smartphone has a 6.81-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The new Honor smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC. The Honor X9 5G comes with 8GB of RAM and supports up to 2GB of RAM extension. The smartphone has a triple back camera arrangement in a spherical module, with a 48-megapixel main sensor at the centre. The Honor X9 5G has a 4,800mAh battery with 66W Honor SuperCharge rapid charging capabilities.
The Honor X9 5G's pricing and availability will be announced on March 29 at 8:30pm MYT (6pm IST), when Honor will unveil a new X-series device in Malaysia. The Honor X9 5G is available in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Titanium Silver.

The Honor X9 5G dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone runs Android 11 with the Magic UI 4.2 layer on top. It has a full-HD+ (1,080x2,388 pixel) LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 19.9:9 aspect ratio, and 16.7 million colours. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC with an Adreno 619 GPU and 8GB of RAM. The Honor smartphone may also be expanded with up to 2GB of RAM.
The Honor X9 5G has a triple rear camera configuration for optics. It has a 48-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and an f/2.4 macro sensor. The rear cameras have an 8x digital zoom as well. The smartphone has a front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The Honor X9 5G has 128GB of internal storage. The Honor X9 5G has 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, USB Type-C, and USB OTG connectivity options. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 2D facial recognition, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gravity sensor, compass, gyroscope, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo are among the onboard sensors.
The phone has a 4,800mAh battery with 66W Honor SuperCharge rapid charging capabilities. Furthermore, the Honor X9 5G measures 166.07x75.78x8.05mm and weighs around 189 grammes.
