Honor debuted its flagship Honor Magic4 series smartphones for the worldwide market last month, and now the firm has added another model to the portfolio in China: the Honor Magic4 Ultimate.
It was introduced as the top-of-the-line model in the Magic4 series, featuring improved camera specifications. The phone's camera received 146 points in DXOMark testing, beating out the Huawei P50 Pro.
The Honor Magic4 Ultimate has a 6.81-inch LTPO OLED display with a screen resolution of 1312 x 2848 pixels and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU under the hood, as well as up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
According to the business, it employed a proprietary picture processor that was created specifically for this smartphone. It has a peak performance of 28.8 TOPS and a power efficiency of 13.4 TOPS per Watt.
The device's primary camera sensor is a large 1/1.12" sensor with the same 50-megapixel resolution. The upgraded lens, an 8P design with an f/1.6 aperture, is paired with the larger 1.4 m pixels.
The device's ultra-wide-angle lens sports a 1/2-inch 64-megapixel sensor and a 126-degree field of view. The 7P lens incorporates unique coatings and an f/2.2 aperture. A new 50-megapixel spectrum improved camera is also available.
It also has a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with a 90-mm lens and optical image stabilisation. The phone also contains an 8-channel sensor that monitors ambient light's colour temperature. A 12-megapixel camera and a 3D depth sensor for face recognition are on the front.
The phone comes pre-installed with the Android 12 operating system with Magic UI 6.0 on top. It is backed by a 4,600mAh battery with 100W rapid charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
The Honor Magic4 Ultimate comes in two colour options: black and white. While the precise release date is unknown, it will be available for purchase in China for 8,000 yuan ($1,260).
