Earlier this year, Honor launched its two flagship smartphones, the Honor Magic 4 and Honor Magic 4 Pro, at MWC. The new smartphones have a distinct design and top-tier technology, and they run the most recent version of Honor's Magic UI (Magic UI 6.0), which is based on Android 12. Magic UI 6.0 includes all of the new features offered by Google in Android 12, as well as a few of new features and a slew of under-the-hood speed enhancements. We have some excellent news for you if you've been waiting to test out Magic UI 6.0 on your Honor handset. Honor has announced that Magic UI 6.0 will begin to be rolled out to additional devices in Q2 2022, beginning with the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Lite.

Magic UI 6.0 will be available to Honor 50 customers in the second quarter of 2022, according to Honor. Users of the Honor 50 Lite, on the other hand, will have to wait until the third quarter of 2022 to get the upgrade. Users of the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Lite will receive the latest software via an OTA update. As soon as the firmware package is ready, we'll post the download links. Honor has not published the Magic UI 6.0 release timetable for the Honor 50 Pro because the smartphone was not released in international markets.

It's worth noting that Honor has already released the Honor 60 series in China, and it's likely to arrive in foreign markets shortly. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G engine, up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, 108MP main cameras, and 4,800mAh batteries with 66W fast charging capability are all included in the company's latest mid-range devices. The Honor 60 series, like the Honor 50 series, debuted with an Android 11-based Magic UI build, although overseas variations may arrive with Magic UI 6.0 based on Android 12. However, we haven't gotten any formal confirmation from Honor on the topic.
