The recently announced Android 12L upgrade is slated to arrive on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro later this month, but if you want it now, you can get it via a special custom ROM. The ProtonAOSP custom ROM has been upgraded, and the new 12.3.0 version provides all of the Android 12L upgrades to your device right now.
You may get ProtonAOSP 12.3.0 right now by clicking on this link. You'll need a rooted device, and keep in mind that this is a fork of Android. That means there will be some variations from the full Android 12L experience you'll eventually get if you wait for Google's official upgrade. If you're a member of the Android Beta Program, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are both included in a new surprise beta for the June Feature Drop.
The modifications in Android 12L for the Pixel 6 are minor, and they are largely intended to improve the experience on foldable phones and Android tablets. Among the modifications is a new two-column layout throughout the system, including the notification panel. There are also enhancements to split-screen mode and a redesigned taskbar that resembles Chrome OS for easier access to other programmes.
If you don't want to download a custom ROM, you may have to wait a little longer for Google to deliver the Pixel 6 update. The corporation has stated that it would be "later this month," but no formal release date has been provided. Other eligible Pixel smartphones, such as the Pixel 5 and Pixel 5a, have already received the update, so we're hopeful it will arrive on the latest Pixel handsets sooner rather than later.
