Google will unveil the Pixel 6a in May as a low-cost counterpart to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro already on the market. These smartphones are recognised for their unusual two-tone housing, better camera, and new Tensor SoC, which give a strong price/quality ratio. Meanwhile, more and more information on the successful 6 series' successors is becoming available. The Google Pixel 7 Pro was already covered at GadgetsCafe earlier this month. It's the basic model's turn this time.

When will the Google Pixel 7 be released?
Let's begin with the release. Around most cases, Google will unveil its new smartphone lineup in October. Simultaneously, the updated Android version is released. The beta version of Android 13 will be published next month, following the release of Android 12.
Google appears to be planning to push the Pixel 7 series' delivery date up by a month. According to display researcher Ross Young, the display panels are being sent a month sooner than previous year.
As a result, it's likely that the new models will be released a month early. That suggests the new Google high-end smartphones will debut in September 2022.
