Google is working to improve Live Captioning on calls. In its March 2022 feature drop, the business offered new features to its Google Pixel series. A recent blog post describes the changes, which include a significant adjustment to Live Caption when used on phone conversations.
Live Caption on calls is about to get even better
Previously, Google provided the option to use Live Captions on your smartphone to convert any speech from callers into text. However, it is now introducing the option to convert text to spoken speech. The function, which operates in real-time, is currently available on Pixel 6 phones.
Night Sight for Snapchat and more additions to Live Translate
This Pixel upgrade, however, does not end with the Live Caption on calls. Google has also included a number of new features in the 10th Pixel Feature Drop. Pixel users may now enjoy Night Sight on Snapchat. Google's Night Sight feature is a low-light camera setting. The option improves images in low-light situations and should be a pleasant addition for Snapchat users.
Google has also updated its smartphone keyboard app with new stickers. On Pixel phones, Gboard is the default keyboard. Users may now transform their words into colourful stickers that are personalised with the wording of their choice, starting today. Google Duo now allows you to arrange YouTube watch parties and share your applications with live sharing. Apple already added comparable functionality to its FaceTime app, so it's encouraging to see Google follow suit.
Google has also added another live function, in addition to Live Captioning on calls. This new feature update also affects Live Translate on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The technology can translate the dialogue automatically, making it easier to communicate with others. Face-to-face discussions will be translated thanks to a new Interpreter mode. Google has also improved Pixel's ability to recognise certain languages in films and other material.
