In numerous areas, the ColorOS 12 upgrade based on Android 12 has been rolled out to a number of OPPO handsets. All of them are either sold as part of the Reno series or not, depending on where you reside, so it's better to get the confusion out of the way first with a handy list.
The following devices are currently receiving ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 in their respective regions:
- OPPO Reno4 Lite — Kazakhstan
- OPPO A93 — UAE
- OPPO Reno5 Lite — Kazakhstan
- OPPO A94 — UAE
- OPPO Reno4 F — Indonesia
- OPPO F17 Pro — India
- OPPO Reno5 F — Indonesia
- OPPO F19 Pro — India
- The Reno4 Lite is identical to the A93, the Reno5 Lite is identical to the A94, the Reno4 F is identical to the F17 Pro, and the Reno5 F is identical to the F19 Pro – the only difference between the two types is the name.
- The OTAs are being pushed out in batches, as is customary, so it may take a while for the update to reach your device. If you haven't gotten a notification, go to Settings > Software Update to check manually. Just make sure you're running the most recent ColorOS 11 upgrade before proceeding.
- ColorOS 12 comes with a slew of new features and enhancements over its predecessor. Throughout the UI, cosmetic modifications have been made to elements such as icons, the quick settings panel, and system programmes. Some Android 12 features, such as the new Privacy Dashboard and microphone and camera Indicators, are also included.
