Apple's Discontinued Speaker, the Beats Pill+, Is Returning in a Limited-Edition Model in Collaboration With Stüssy.

In conjunction with American luxury label Stüssy, Beats is releasing a limited-edition variant of their discontinued Beats Pill+. The announcement comes just a few months after Apple discontinued Beats Pill+ in January of this year. The original Pill Plus design will be retained in the new Pill Plus. The speaker will be available for purchase worldwide on March 4, and the entire system is likely to cost $185. (roughly Rs. 14,000). Beats Fit Pro, the California-based Apple subsidiary's true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, were released in the United States in November of last year and were available for purchase worldwide in January.

Apple debuted the original Beats Pill+ speaker in 2015. It was the first product introduced following Apple's $3 billion (about Rs. 22,700 crore) acquisition of Beats in 2014.

The new Beats Pill+ from Beats by Dre and Stüssy is a limited-edition device that will retain the original look of the product that Apple discontinued in January 2022. The speaker will be black in colour and include a white skull and crossbones pattern on the front. "The only good system is a sound system," says one side of the speaker. The new Pill Plus, according to Stüssy's website, will combine the "signature Southern California look with a rich, clear sound field that will improve your listening experience everywhere."

The Beats Pill+ limited edition will be available worldwide on Stüssy's website on Friday, March 4, at 10:00 a.m. PST (11:30pm IST). The speaker is expected to cost $185 (approximately Rs. 14,000) in the United States, CAD 255 (approximately Rs. 15,270) in Canada, GBP 185 (approximately Rs. 18,770) in the United Kingdom, KRW 2,30,000 (approximately Rs. 14,450) in South Korea, JPY 21,500 (approximately Rs. 14,060) in Japan, and EUR 205 (approximately Rs

The full specifications and functionality of the redesigned speaker are yet to be disclosed.

In other Apple-owned brand news, the Beats Fit Pro TWS earbuds will be released in the United States in November 2021. The TWS earbuds provide active noise cancellation (ANC) as well as Spatial Audio capabilities and are powered by Apple's H1 processor. Later that year, in January 2021, the Beats Fit Pro was released internationally.
