Apple released the iPhone 13 series, which had four versions, a few months ago. However, a recent leak has disclosed some intriguing details about the impending iPhone 14 variants.

Sources close to the topic told 9To5Mac that the upcoming iPhone models will feature different processors. According to the sources, the Pro models may now have a higher display due to a revised design, and the business is also working on additional sophisticated satellite functions for the 14 series. Recent rumours indicate that the Cupertino-based company's iPhone 14 series will still have four new models, however there will be no tiny variant this year.

According to the sources, the next iPhone 14 (codenamed D27 and D28) would be available in 6.1 inch and 6.7 inch sizes. In other words, the 5.4-inch iPhone mini will no longer be available. The display resolution of these devices will be the same as that of the existing iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The screen of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max (codenamed D73 and D74) may be bigger than that of the prior model. In other words, the notch will be replaced with a new "notch + pill" design.
