The pricing of the Airtel Xstream Box has been cut by Rs. 499 to Rs. 2,000. Customers who obtain new Airtel Digital TV connections with the Xstream Box option would benefit the most from the lower cost. The direct-to-home (DTH) set-top box now includes free access to over-the-top (OTT) apps such as Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar. Airtel first released the Xstream Box, together with the Xstream Stick, in September 2019. The pricing of both smartphones was Rs. 3,999.
According to the Airtel website, the price of the Airtel Xstream Box has been cut to Rs. 2,000. According to Internet archives, the box was formerly offered for Rs. 2,499.
Aside from the lower prices, Airtel is providing free access to Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV, Eros Now, Hungama, and other OTT applications to users who purchase the new Xstream Box.
According to a report from DTH-focused website DreamDTH, the decreased rate is available for new connection requests made through the Airtel website as well as authorised dealers. It is claimed to be accessible for a short time.
According to the article, the bundled perks include one year of Disney+ Hotstar, three months of Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV, Eros Now, and Hungama, among other applications.
