Bharti Airtel and Axis Bank launched a financial services alliance on Monday, beginning with a co-branded credit card for telecom users. The firms will provide pre-approved fast loans, 'buy now pay later' options, and other services as part of their agreement. According to a release, the agreement will help Axis Bank expand into tier 2 and tier 3 markets.
Gopal Vittal, MD and CEO of Bharti Airtel for India and South Asia, stated that Airtel is developing a financial services portfolio as part of its efforts to provide world-class digital services to its clients.

The collaboration began with the introduction of the 'Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card,' which offers customers cashback and exclusive incentives.
The credit card will be offered only to qualified Airtel customers via the Airtel Thanks app.
