On Thursday, March 31, Acer Nitro 5 (2022) with 12th-generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 CPU choices and Nvidia GeForce RTX 30-series GPU was released in India. The latest Acer gaming laptop, model number AN515-18, was introduced in January at CES 2022. It has a 144Hz display, up to 16GB of RAM, and an RGB-backlit keyboard as standard. For thermal management, the Nitro 5 (2022) has a dual-fan cooling system and a quad-exhaust port design. It includes a software solution that enables CPU and GPU overclocking.

In India, the Acer Nitro 5 (2022) begins at Rs. 84,999. The base model includes an Intel Core i5-12500H CPU and 8GB of RAM. At Rs. 1,09,999, the laptop also has top-tier features, including an Intel Core i7-12700H CPU and 16GB RAM.
The Acer Nitro 5 (2022) is now available through Acer Exclusive Stores, Amazon, Croma, and Vijay Sales. The laptop is also available in both configurations on the Acer India website.
Acer confirmed to Gadgets 360 that it would also release a QHD version of the Nitro 5 (2022) with a refresh rate of 165Hz before the end of April.
The Acer Nitro 5 (2022) was introduced at CES 2022, with a starting price of EUR 1,549. (roughly Rs. 1,30,900).

The Acer Nitro 5 (2022) is powered by Windows 11 Home. It boasts a full-HD (1,920x1,080 pixel) ComfyView LED-backlit TFT IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The display also offers a viewing angle of 170-degrees. The Acer laptop is powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core i5-12500H or Intel Core i7-12700H CPU, as well as up to 12GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM, 512GB of M.2 PCIe SSD storage, and up to 1TB 2.5-inch HDD. There's also the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, which has 4GB of DDR6 VRAM.
The Nitro 5 (2022) comes with a four-zone RGB keyboard with a dedicated NitroSense Key. To make gaming easier, the keyboard highlights WASD and arrow keys.
Acer has outfitted the Nitro 5 (2022) with twin 2W DTS:X Ultra-powered speakers. Killer Ethernet E2600 for cable connectivity and Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i for wireless Internet access are included in the laptop. There are further connectors such as HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4. Bluetooth v5.1 is also available on the Nitro 5 (2022).
In addition to a variety of connectivity choices, the Nitro 5 (2022) includes a multi-gesture touchpad that allows two-finger scrolling and pinching movements. The system also includes a 720p HD webcam with a Temporal Noise Reduction function and two mics.
The Nitro 5 (2022) is powered by a four-cell, 57.5Whr battery. Furthermore, the machine is 360.4x271.09x25.9/26.9mm in size and weighs 2.5kg.
