According to analyst Ross Young, Apple will not release a tiny LED version of the 11-inch iPad Pro in 2022 since sales of the 12.9-inch device are "very excellent."
In addition to claiming that Apple is building a "Studio Display Pro" with micro LED, analyst Ross Young claims that the company has opted to postpone deploying the technology in the smaller iPad Pro.
Previously, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that a tiny LED display will be included in a 2022 upgrade of the 11-inch iPad Pro.
According to Display Supply Chain Consultants expert Ross Young, the tiny LED is a big hit with the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Postponing its use in the 11-inch model would preserve that element of product differentiation.
However, Ming-Chi Kuo has since claimed that Apple may delay all new tiny LED gadgets until at least 2023 due to cost concerns.
This would contain the 11-inch iPad Pro as well as the anticipated "Studio Display Pro."
