OnePlus introduced their latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 clad flagship, the OnePlus 10 Pro, in the Chinese market earlier this year. The OnePlus 10 Pro will be available in India, Europe, and the United States by the end of March, according to the company.
OnePlus is also rumoured to be working on a new smartphone codenamed "Oscar," which is expected to ship in Q2 2022 and is reported to be the vanilla OnePlus 10. Now, probable back panel pictures of the OnePlus 10 have surfaced online, showcasing a camera module that is somewhat different from the OnePlus 10 Pro.
The image was obtained from industry sources, according to a Weibo tipster, albeit there isn't much information on which model the back panel belongs to. There is no stovetop camera module visible in the design, which instead resembles the camera on the Xiaomi 12.
It appears to contain one large primary camera in the upper left corner, as well as three additional cutouts that could hold an ultrawide, telephoto, or perhaps monochrome camera. The images also show that the smartphone will be available in white and matte black.
OnePlus is also rumoured to be working on the OnePlus Nord 3, the next iteration of the Nord smartphone. So far, a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate has been displayed. The selfie camera will most likely be located in the centre of the smartphone.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 CPU, which has four Cortex-A78 cores, might power it. LDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage will be supported by the chipset. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera will be mounted on the back of the phone, which will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery. It will feature 150W rapid charging and is expected to run Android 12. In the second quarter of 2022, this smartphone is also expected to join the market.
