You've undoubtedly heard of Infinix mobiles, which are manufactured in Hong Kong and are owned by Transsion Holdings. The firm makes several decent low-cost cellphones. It can sometimes deliver hardware specifications that are superior to those of any smartphone in a certain price range. Xiaomi, on the other hand, is a Beijing-based business that makes a wide range of smartphones, from entry-level budget models to flagship and ultra-premium models. In terms of mid-range and flagship smartphones, Xiaomi is no match for Infinix. Xiaomi is obviously in the lead. But, when it comes to low-cost smartphones, will Infinix be able to compete with Xiaomi?
Is Infinix capable of defeating Xiaomi?
Both firms make reasonably priced cellphones. While Infinix smartphones are largely focused on hardware, Xiaomi focuses on the complete smartphone, which is one of the reasons for Xiaomi's enormous success. But the question is, can Infinix truly compete with Xiaomi? To be honest, it's not going to happen anytime soon. To compete with Xiaomi, Infinix must upgrade its devices in a variety of areas. Let's look at some of the reasons why Xiaomi is still ahead of Infinix.
Software
When we compare Xiaomi's MIUI to Infinix's XOS, for example, the MIUI wins by a wide margin. Even while MIUI isn't the best among inexpensive devices, it's better than XOS. Xiaomi's software support is also more promising than Infinix's. Xiaomi typically provides one or two major upgrades every year, as well as two or three years of security updates. Infinix, on the other hand, does not follow any such update policy; they sometimes roll out updates and sometimes do not.
