Why is Xiaomi releasing Pro Models without a base model?

Have you ever wondered what happened to the Redmi K10 and POCO X1? As you may be aware, Xiaomi has produced hundreds of products under three distinct names. Furthermore, there are 4-5 devices in a device model at the same time. Redmi Note 10/T/S/JE/5G/Pro/Pro Max/Pro 5G, for example. It was even more than I had anticipated.

As you may have noticed, there are some devices for which Xiaomi has recently released the "Pro" model but has yet to release the regular model.

For example, you may be familiar with the POCO F2 Pro (lmi). POCO's flagship product will be available in 2020. But where has the POCO F2 gone? Why is the POCO F2 Pro (lmi) being issued without the POCO F2? Redmi K20 (davinci), K30 4G/5G (phoenix/picasso), K40 (alioth), and K50 (munch) devices are available, but where is K10?

Alternatively, the POCO M4 Pro 5G (evergreen) device. POCO's mid-range device, released a few months ago. But there is currently no POCO M4 available. Why is the POCO M4 Pro 5G (evergreen) manufactured and released without the POCO M4? There must be a reason for it.

Where can I find Lost Devices?

Actually, it all boils down to Xiaomi's policies. Before a Xiaomi device is manufactured at the factory, the project – plan of the device is made. Firstly, device series are named. Then, number of devices to be released in the series and their hardware features are prepared. Then device starts to be produced. In short, device naming process is done long before production and release

This is the important part, devices that Xiaomi has stopped releasing remain as prototype (unreleased). If you remember, we touched on this subject in this article. Since the naming process was done long ago, produced device is released. And abandoned device remains as the prototype. Some devices are renamed and released in another device series.

There are also devices whose names have been changed and which have been moved to a different series. For example, consider the loss of a POCO M4 device. It was, in reality, the reintroduced Redmi 2022 (selene). Because Xiaomi altered its ideas, it was only available as the Redmi 10 2022 (selene) and the POCO M4 Pro 5G (evergreen).

According to the Xiaomiui IMEI Database, the Redmi K10 is really a POCOPHONE F1 (beryllium). The vanishing K10 gadget, which could not be presented due to Xiaomi's change of heart. It turned out to be a POCOPHONE F1 (beryllium) gadget. The proof may be seen in the post below. Join the Telegram channel listed below if you want to see more unreleased/prototype devices.

Also, have you ever wondered why POCO X2 was released before POCO X1? The POCO X1 is the first Snapdragon 710 device, codenamed Comet, that was never released.

As a result, if any products from the series are absent, it is because Xiaomi officials have given up something. That misplaced device is either a prototype (unreleased) or a device from another series. When it comes to phone releases, Xiaomi is always changing its mind.
