The Samsung Galaxy S22 series, which includes the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22+, and standard Galaxy S22 smartphones, lacks a microSD card slot for expanding internal storage. The phones have been available in a variety of storage configurations, ranging from 32GB to 1TB for the top-of-the-line Galaxy S22 Ultra model. The Samsung Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 devices, on the other hand, have storage capacities of up to 256GB. Furthermore, the devices lack a 3.5mm headphone jack, which Samsung discontinued with the Galaxy S20 series of cellphones.

The recently released Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, S22+, and S22 do not feature a microSD slot, which means that users who have a lot of data on their previous phones and want to transfer to the new Samsung handsets will need to purchase a model with more storage space. They may need to invest in cloud storage to keep their data safe. The Samsung Galaxy S21 phones did not have expandable storage.

The South Korean corporation, on the other hand, is providing six months of 100GB OneDrive online storage to buyers of the Galaxy S22 series devices. This allegation is strengthened by the inclusion of expandable storage capability in the Galaxy Tab S8 series, which debuted alongside the Galaxy S22 smartphones.

Storage possibilities for the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ have been released in 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB + 256GB configurations. Meanwhile, the 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 12GB + 1TB variants of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available.

According to SamMobile, Samsung is now selling a 1TB storage option for the Galaxy S22 Ultra on their online shop. It is not listed on the above-mentioned specification sheet. Those interested in purchasing the phone may pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S22 series in India for Rs. 1,999 till 11:59 p.m. on February 21.
