The price of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra in India has been rumoured, and new colour options are expected.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series made its global premiere last week at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. The new flagship Samsung smartphones are scheduled to arrive in India soon, and pre-orders for the devices have already begun. A new leak has revealed the price details of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones in the nation ahead of their official release. These phones' colour selections have also been highlighted individually. The Galaxy S21 range, which launched last year, is being replaced by the new series. All three phones in the Samsung Galaxy S22 series include 120Hz AMOLED screens and a glass back.

Price of Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra in India (expected)

According to MySmartPrice, the Samsung Galaxy S22 might be priced as little as Rs. 69,900 in India. The Galaxy S22 Ultra variant, which comes with a S Pen, is expected to cost Rs. 1,09,900 upon launch. The pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S22+ has not been revealed.

To remember, the Samsung Galaxy S22 was released internationally at a starting price of $799 (about Rs. 59,900), while the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is priced at $1,199. (roughly Rs. 89,900).

Separately, tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) has disclosed the colour possibilities for the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra versions in India in partnership with MySmartPrice. According to the leak, a new Pink Gold colour variation of the Galaxy S22 and a Green colour variant of the Galaxy S22 Ultra would be released in the Indian market later this year. These colour selections are stated to be out of stock and will not be available for pre-order.

The Galaxy S22 will be available in Green, Phantom Black, and Phantom White. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, on the other hand, was introduced in three colour options: Burgundy, Phantom Black, and Phantom White.

The new Galaxy S22 series phones are now available for pre-order on the Samsung India website. For pre-ordering the flagship phones, Samsung is charging Rs. 1,999 as a refundable upfront fee. The pre-reservation period is open till February 21.
