An inquisitive tipster has discovered the forthcoming Poco F4 GT having its certifications ready before launch: FCC, IMEI, EEC, and TUV. All of these certifications indicate that the phone will ship with MIUI 13 out of the box, which is not surprising given that it is the most recent version of Xiaomi's skin (which Poco also uses).

Furthermore, the F4 GT will include a 4,560 mAh battery separated into two cells, implying compatibility for some form of rapid charging. There's also Hi-Res Audio, and the packaging includes the phone, a charging brick, a USB-C cable, a SIM ejector tool, a wrapped case, and a Type-C to 3.5mm audio adaptor - thus there's no headphone port on the smartphone.

The model number of the Poco F4 GT is 21121210G, and if you expected this phone to be offered under a different name someplace, you were probably correct. In Xiaomi-land, the "G" at the end stands for "global," whereas the "C" stands for "China market." And guess what else? There's also a 21121210C circulating in the rumour mill, which will most likely be released as the Redmi K50 Gaming. The fact that the same gadget is being offered under two different names is expected, given that the Poco F3 GT was sold in China as the Redmi K40 Gaming last year.

The Poco F4 GT's certifications haven't given any additional specifics, but Redmi has previously confirmed that the K50 Gaming will include Sony's 64 MP IMX686 sensor for its main back camera, while the 20 MP Sony IMX596 sensor will be housed in a centred punch-hole on the front. Other confirmed characteristics include an FHD+ OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, touch sampling at 480 Hz, with Gorilla Glass Victus on top. At least two colour options will be available: silver and blue. The K50 Gaming will be unveiled on February 16, thus the Poco F4 GT may not be long behind.
