According to a media invite from the firm, the iQoo 9 series of smartphones will be unveiled on February 23 during an event. There isn't much information about the launch yet, but iQoo is anticipated to release more shortly. However, the business has previously said that the handsets would be sold on Amazon and that the series will be unique to Amazon. Meanwhile, the Chinese manufacturer has been teasing the smartphone series on its official Twitter account all week.
According to a recent tweet from iQoo India, the rear panel of the iQoo 9 series smartphones would have "the classic Legend tricolour pattern." This refers to a strip of BMW colours that has also been spotted on previous iQoo phones. In another tweet, the Chinese company's India unit teased the capability of the devices with a brief video clip. According to the video, the phone can easily manage multitasking, gaming, and other high-use tasks. It also suggests two colorways for the phones, which are likely to debut in India. Another tweet teases "Next Generation Gaming and Superior Camera."
Price of the iQoo 9 series in India (expected)
Meanwhile, prior of the introduction, the iQoo 9 series pricing in India has been leaked. According to PassionateGeeks, the retail box price of the iQoo 9 Pro 5G top-end edition is Rs. 74,990, however it is believed to be available in the Rs. 55,000 to Rs. 58,000 price range. The vanilla iQoo 9 is expected to cost between Rs. 43,000 and Rs. 47,000, while the iQoo 9 SE is expected to cost between Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 40,000.
It is worth noting that the iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro have previously been released in China. The Indian counterparts of these devices are claimed to have different specs from the Chinese models.
Specifications for the iQoo 9 (expected)
The iQoo 9 India model is expected to run Android 12. It might have a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone's processor might be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+, with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It is said to include a triple back camera arrangement, with the primary camera being 48 megapixels.
Specifications for the iQoo 9 Pro (expected)
The iQoo 9 Pro India edition is said to have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. It will sport a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. The phone's triple back camera arrangement is said to include a 50-megapixel main sensor. The phone's battery capacity might be 4,700mAh.
