is redmi note 7 pro still worth buying
Xiaomi's once-popular Redmi Note 7 model, which debuted in 2019, is now almost three years old. I'm curious if it's still good after three years. We all know that the answer is subjective. Users come in all shapes and sizes; some use their phones casually, while others use them for gaming, graphics, and so on. We'll try to respond to this question without excluding anyone.
Redmi Note 7 in 2022

The Note series has only received one official Android update, with Android 10 being the most recent. Because the CPU is quite old, it will not meet your current performance requirements and may be slow during certain processes. If you are a light user, you can probably get away with it for another year or two, but an upgrade is long overdue. If you're a mobile gamer, this device will most likely disappoint you.
Although there have been many better-looking devices released, we wouldn't call the Redmi Note 7 outdated. Because this is a mid-range phone, we shouldn't expect too much. If you like waterfall shaped notch, this design isn't bad. It all comes down to your requirements in the end. If you’re a heavy user, you should most probably upgrade or consider a newer device in the market. Year after year, Xiaomi releases better and better devices, and you may be able to find one that is more affordable than the Redmi Note 7.
Is Redmi Note 7 still smooth?
The answer is yes in some cases, but not in the case of MIUI. If you switch to an AOSP-based ROM, however, your chances are much better. Because it is not as bloated as MIUI or other OEM ROMs, the Pure Android user interface has always been much smoother. If you're a heavy user, upgrade or buy a device with much better specs, and if you're a light user, stay a year or two and upgrade if you want. In addition, the Redmi Note 7 received the MIUI 12.5 Android 10 update recently and will not receive any further updates. Custom ROMs can be used to install Android 12.
Is the Redmi Note 7 camera still successful?
This sensor is used in many Xiaomi devices released in 2021. You can still take decent photos with Google Camera thanks to the Snapdragon 660's successful ISP. You can take better pictures with RAW photo modes than you can with long exposure on most phones. All you need to do now is locate the appropriate Google Camera settings. Using the GCamLoader app, you can get a Google Camera that is suitable for the Redmi Note 7.
If you own a Redmi Note 7 and are considering purchasing a Redmi Note 11 with money from another Redmi Note 7, do not do so. You can get the most out of your Redmi Note 7 by installing a custom ROM. Because of MIUI Skin, the Redmi Note 11 isn't as fast as it could be.
