Several leaks have lately surfaced regarding the Redmi K50. The projected pricing, important characteristics, and design renderings for the forthcoming Redmi flagship have finally been revealed in a new report. The Redmi K50 range includes the standard Redmi K50, the Redmi K50 Pro, the Redmi K50 Pro+, and the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. The Gaming Edition was released earlier this month in China. The Redmi K50 is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. Its design is comparable to the Redmi K50 Pro.

Redmi K50 cost in India (expected)

The vanilla Redmi K50 is estimated to cost between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000, according to tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer and Bestopedia. The Redmi smartphone is expected to be released around the end of March or early April. According to the source, the smartphone could come in three different colours.

The source also released some computer-aided design (CAD) renderings of the Redmi K50. A triple rear camera arrangement is depicted in a rectangular camera module. According to the renderings, the front will have a flat display with a centrally located hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. In addition, the display has small bezels on three sides and a somewhat larger chin.

According to the renderings, the volume rocker and power button are located on the right spine of the vanilla Redmi K50. A 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker grille are displayed on the bottom. The design is identical to the Redmi K50 Pro, which was shown in a leak earlier this week.

Specifications for the Redmi K50 (expected)

The report does not provide many specifics. It does, however, imply that the Redmi K50 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. In addition, the smartphone is believed to include 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. According to reports, the forthcoming Redmi K-series smartphone would have a 6.6-inch display.

The Redmi K50 will allegedly include a triple rear camera configuration with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor. There is no mention of the selfie camera's specs. On top of that, it is reported to run the MIUI skin based on Android 12. The smartphone is believed to include a 5,000mAh battery and capability for 120W rapid charging.
