Realme's next smartphones are expected to offer 80W and 150W rapid charging. The devices will also be equipped with a MediaTek 8000 chipset. Realme already has a 125W UltraDART charging technology in its lineup, which was introduced in July 2020. The 125W UltraDART was supposed to debut with the Realme GT 2 Pro, however in the worldwide market, the gadget arrived with a 65W fast charger instead. According to a fresh leak from Digital Chat Station, Realme is developing 80W and 150W charging devices powered by the MediaTek 8000 SoC. Previously, the MediaTek 8000 CPU was said to be included with the Realme GT Neo 3. According to the source, Realme would leverage OPPO's future 160W charging technology on its next 150W devices.
According to rumours, Realme is ready to compete with other smartphone manufacturers' insane rapid charging technologies such as Xiaomi 200W, OPPO 160W, and Redmagic 165W. Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme India, has revealed that most Realme smartphones releasing in 2022 would be 5G ready, and the next-generation Realme Book will contain a 12th Gen Intel Core CPU. Realme 5G smartphone sales have already increased by 831 percent in Q3 2021, and the business has surpassed Xiaomi with a huge 49 percent year-on-year gain in volume in Q4 2021. Realme's new 80W and 150W technologies might put other smartphone manufacturers to shame.
Xiaomi, Realme, and other Android manufacturers are now leading the fast charging technology smartphone category, since Apple's iPhone only supports up to 29W charging and Samsung only supports up to 45W fast charging.
