Realme confirmed the global debut of the Realme GT 2 series with a press release and a tweet on February 28 at 9 a.m. GMT (2:30pm IST). The flagship smartphone series will be unveiled on the first day of MWC 2022, and the event will be livestreamed on Realme UK's Twitter and YouTube accounts. There has been no mention of a special India launch, although Realme CEO Madhav Sheth suggested earlier this month that the Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro will be available in India shortly.
Specifications of the Realme GT 2
It remains to be seen if the worldwide version of the Realme GT 2 series will have the same characteristics as the Chinese version, which was released earlier this year. The Realme GT 2 has a 6.62-inch full-HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood, as well as up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
Realme GT 2 has a triple back camera array with a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor for optics. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is located on the phone's front. The Realme flagship smartphone includes Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, and NFC connection. It includes a 5,000mAh battery and supports 65W rapid charging.

The Realme GT 2 Pro has a 6.7-inch 2K (1,440x3,216 pixels) LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 400 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage onboard.
A 50-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor are included in the smartphone's triple back camera configuration. Realme GT 2 Pro supports Wi-Fi 6, 5G, and NFC connection. It includes a 5,000mAh battery and supports 65W rapid charging.
