The Xiaomi 12 series has been available in China since December, but it was always a foregone conclusion that it will eventually extend its wings and fly to overseas markets. Today, a fresh rumour informs us about the costs we can anticipate in Europe, as well as the RAM/storage and colour variants that will be offered.
Obviously, because this is only a rumour, you should take it with a grain of salt. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, not even a date for the phones' European debut. That being said, if these figures hold true, it's time to start saving.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro is said to cost between €1,000 and €1,200, but the wording is ambiguous, so we're not sure if that's a price range for the cheapest model, or if it means the entry-level model (with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, by the way) will cost €1,000 and the 12/256GB model will cost €200 more. That would be an extremely large delta, so perhaps this is a range after all.
The Xiaomi 12, rumoured to cost between €800 and €900, adds to the uncertainty. This will be available in 8/128 GB and 8/256GB capacities. Finally, the Xiaomi 12X will be priced between €600 and €700 and will provide the same RAM/storage choices as the Xiaomi 12.
All three phones are expected to be available in blue, grey, and purple and to go on sale by the end of the month or in March. That's not a particularly definite thing to say, like the pricing ranges, but we'll accept it for now. In any case, it's been a long time since the Chinese launch.
