After a slew of leaks, rumours, and teasers, OPPO finally unveiled its first-ever tablet in China, dubbed the OPPO Pad. The OPPO Pad has a 120Hz refresh rate display, a large 8,360mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 870 processor. The OPPO Pad is OPPO's take on an iPad competitor, and the company is providing the necessary hardware. Price and availability of the OPPO Pad
The 6GB/128GB variant costs CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 27,400), the 6GB/256GB variant costs CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs 32,200), and the 8GB/256GB variant costs CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 35,800). A special James Jean Artist Limited Edition of the OPPO Pad has also been released, which includes a custom stylus and a fine leather case. The OPPO Pad Special Edition is priced at CNY 3,499 and comes with a single 8GB/256GB storage option (around Rs 41,800).
Along with the OPPO Pad, the company also unveiled the OPPO Pencil, a stylus that costs CNY 499 (roughly Rs 5,960), and the OPPO Smart Magnetic Keyboard, which costs CNY 399. (around Rs 4,770).
Specifications for OPPO Pad
The OPPO Pad has an 11-inch WQXGA display with a 2,560x1,600 pixel resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 480 nits brightness, 2048-level intelligent backlight, and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification, to begin with. The OPPO Pad is powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
On the software front, the device runs ColorOS 12 for tablet, which is based on Android 11. The OPPO Pad has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is 507 grammes and measures 252.2163.8mmx6.99mm.
The OPPO Pad supports USB Type-C audio, Quad speakers, and Dolby Atmos for audio. The OPPO Pad is equipped with an 8,360mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.
