On Thursday, the Oppo Find X5, Find X5 Pro, and Find X5 Lite were unveiled in a virtual event (February 24). Both the Oppo Find X5 and Find X5 Pro use a special Oppo MariSilicon X processor to improve image processing. The cameras of the Oppo Find X5 and Find X5 Pro have also been software optimised in collaboration with Swedish camera manufacturer Hasselblad. The phones also have IP68-certified water-resistance constructions. The Oppo Find X5 Lite 5G, on the other hand, has arrived as a low-cost choice in the series. It's just a rebadged Oppo Reno 7 5G, which was released in India last month.

Price of Oppo Find X5, Find X5 Pro, and Find X5 Lite

The Oppo Find X5 is priced at EUR 999 (about Rs. 84,500) for the single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. The Oppo Find X5 Pro costs EUR 1,299 (about Rs. 1,09,900) for the single 12GB + 256GB option. The Oppo Find X5 Lite's price and availability are yet to be announced.

The Find X5 and Find X5 Pro will go on sale on March 14th. In Europe, both phones are presently available for pre-order.

The Oppo Find X5 is available in Black and White, while the Find X5 Pro is available in Ceramic White and Glaze Black. The Find X5 Lite, on the other hand, is available in Starlight Black and Startrails Blue.

The Oppo Find X5 series will not be available in India, according to current information.

Oppo also revealed its new 50W AirVOOC Wireless Charger, which will be available beginning in the middle of March, in addition to the Find X5 series. It will be priced at EUR 79. (roughly Rs. 6,700). The Oppo Enco X2 truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones made their premiere during the event as well.

The Oppo Find X3 was introduced last year at CNY 4,499 (about Rs. 53,700) for the basic model. The Find X3 Pro, on the other hand, was priced at EUR 1,149 (about Rs. 97,100), while the Find X3 Lite was priced at EUR 449. (roughly Rs. 37,900).

Oppo Find X5 technical specs

The Oppo Find X5 is a dual-SIM (Nano+eSIM) smartphone that runs Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 on top. It has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The Find X5 has a triple rear camera configuration that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor with an f/1.8 lens and optical image stabilisation (OIS), as well as a second 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens. A 13-megapixel telephoto lens is also included in the camera package.

Oppo created its 6nm MariSilicon X chip, which integrates a neural processing unit (NPU) with an image signal processor (ISP) and multi-tier memory architecture to improve imaging performance on the Find X5. The proprietary processor is said to be capable of 18 tera operations per second (TOPS) computational power as well as 20-bit 120dB Ultra Dynamic Range. The latter is said to be four times more powerful than the Oppo Find X3 Pro's. The chip can also do real-time RAW image processing, have a brightness contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, and enhance signal-to-noise ratio by 8dB.

An accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, pedometer, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. In addition, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Oppo has equipped the Find X5 with a 4,800mAh dual-cell battery that enables rapid wired charging at 80W SuperVOOC, wireless charging at 30W AirVOOC, and reverse wireless charging at 10W. Furthermore, the phone has dimensions of 160.3x72.6x8.7mm and weighs 196 grammes.

ColorOS 12.1 is also included with the dual-SIM (Nano+eSIM) Oppo Find X5 Pro, which is based on Android 12. The phone has a 6.70-inch 10-bit QHD+ (1,440x3,216 pixel) AMOLED display with low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) technology and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the display, which also supports HDR10+. The Find X5 Pro is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor with an f/1.7 lens is housed in a triple rear camera system.

A 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 13-megapixel Samsung S5K3M5 sensor with an f/2.4 telephoto lens round out the camera configuration. The main sensor also has five-axis OIS, and the camera is combined with a 13-channel spectral sensor. This is done to identify the colour spectrum of a scene more precisely.

The Find X5 Pro, like the Find X5, has the MariSilicon X chip for improved image results.

In terms of selfies and video chats, the Oppo Find X5 Pro has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie camera sensor with an f/2.4 lens on the front.

The Oppo Find X5 Pro has 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage that cannot be expanded with a microSD card. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity choices.
