Not immediately after the release of Android version 12, Google began work on Android 13 Tiramisu, which is presently in beta. OEMs such as OPPO, Samsung, Xiaomi, and others will take time to catch up, as they have in the past, but the good news is that OPPO has already made guarantees about this new update for its smartphones.

Promised OPPO Devices

The following devices will be updated to Android 13 (Tiramisu) as part of this promise:

  • Find the X series to receive three major Android updates as well as four years of security patches.
  • The Reno series will receive two major Android updates as well as four years of security patches.
  • The F series will receive two major Android updates as well as four years of security patches.
  • A series: particular models will receive one main Android release and three years of security updates.

This guarantee does not apply to devices released prior to 2019, but some older models are said to receive security updates. Even while the firm does not guarantee support for devices older than 2019, this does not mean that none of them will be supported.
