OnePlus has planned an OEF event on international forums, introducing OxygenOS 13, its next-generation operating system. The revelation is remarkable given OnePlus announced in June 2021 the merger of OxygenOS and Oppo's ColorOS.

As a result, OnePlus discarded HydrogenOS in favour of ColorOS in China. The Android 12 upgrade was later handed out to all areas, thus rebranding OxygenOS as ColorOS. According to recent speculations, both companies will drop their operating system identities in favour of a unified OS with a single name, thought to be H2OOS. OnePlus, on the other hand, has confirmed that an OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13 is in the works.
