The Nokia G21 entry-level smartphone has been officially launched in worldwide markets. It is the successor of the Nokia G20 and has several hardware advancements. It sports a waterdrop notch for selfies, a square-camera module to house the triple-camera lenses, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and a distinctive textured back panel. The phone is powered by a Unisoc T606 processor, as opposed to the Helio G35 chipset of its predecessor, and has a 50MP main sensor instead of a 48MP lens. A 5,050mAh battery with 18W rapid charging capabilities is also included.

The Nokia G21 costs €170 and is available in Nordic Blue and Dusk. The device will be available in European markets soon.

The Nokia G21 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display, a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop notch for the front camera. It ships with Android 11 OS, but the manufacturer promises two big Android upgrades, which implies the smartphone will receive Android 12 and Android 13 OS in the future. In addition, the smartphone will receive security updates for three years. The Nokia G21 is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset, the Mali G57 MP1, 4GB RAM, and up to 128GB storage, which may be expanded through a microSD card.
The battery has a capacity of 5,050mAh and supports 18W rapid charging; however, it will come with only a 10W adaptor. With adaptive refresh rate mode enabled, the manufacturer says the smartphone would have a 3-day battery life. For security, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as well as better facial unlock capabilities.
In terms of optics, the Nokia G21 sports a 50MP main sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the rear. At the time, details about the front camera are being kept under wraps.
