The Motorola Edge 30 Pro, the company's rumoured future flagship smartphone, is expected to launch this week in India. Pricing and features for the Motorola Edge 30 Pro have leaked online ahead of the February 24 launch event for an unidentified new smartphone touted by Motorola. The phone is claimed to be a rebranded version of the Moto Edge X30, which was released in China in December 2021 and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. According to a tip, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro may be the most cheap smartphone in India to include the flagship processor, when compared to the Galaxy S22 series, which starts at Rs. 72,999.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro pricing and availability in India (expected)

According to 91Mobiles, citing tipster Yogesh Brar, the next Motorola Edge 30 Pro might be released on February 25 in India, with a box price of Rs. 55,999 and a price of Rs. 49,999 on Flipkart. According to the source, the smartphone is also expected to come with discounts on several bank cards, perhaps lowering the price to Rs. 44,999.

Readers may recall that the Moto Edge X30 was released in China with a starting price of CNY 3,199 (about Rs. 37,900) for the basic 8GB + 128GB storage option. The phone was priced at CNY 3,399 (about Rs. 40,200) for the 8GB + 256GB storage edition and CNY 3,599 (approximately Rs. 43,000) for the 12GB + 256GB storage option.

Motorola has yet to publicly share any price information for the rumoured Motorola Edge 30 Pro smartphone.

Previous rumours suggest that the Motorola Edge 30 Pro will be a renamed version of the Moto Edge X30. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro may be powered by Android 12 with the company's MyUX overlay on top. It is believed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Following the recent announcement of the Galaxy S22 series handsets, it might be the second smartphone in India to use the newest Snapdragon flagship chipset. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is expected to include a 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and HDR+ content compatibility.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone is also expected to have a front-facing selfie camera with a resolution of 60 megapixels. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is claimed to include a 5,000mAh battery with 68W rapid charging through USB Type-C compatibility. As previously said, Motorola has yet to officially unveil the specifications and features of the new Motorola Edge 30 Pro smartphone, so the claimed information should be taken with a grain of salt.
