Flipkart has teased the Motorola Edge 30 Pro India debut date as February 24. The next Motorola phone is likely to be released as a replacement for last year's Motorola Edge 20 Pro. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is also thought to be a rebranded version of the Moto Edge X30, which was released in China last year. The previous year's model had a 144Hz display and triple back cameras. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is also projected to be the country's most cheap smartphone to include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

Flipkart has set up a separate homepage for mobile customers to tease the Motorola Edge 30 Pro's India launch date. The phone's name isn't mentioned on the website, but it does include a slogan that says, "Find Your Edge with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1." This certainly leads to the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, which is said to be a rebranded Moto Edge X30.

The Flipkart listing also indicates that the launch will take place on February 24 at 8 p.m.

Motorola has so far kept the Motorola Edge 30 Pro debut under wraps. The brand did, however, make its debut in both the Indian and worldwide markets earlier this month with a teaser image uploaded on social media. However, it has yet to clearly hint the actual product name and specifics of the phone.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro in India price (expected)

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro pricing in India was posted online earlier this week. The phone is supposed to be available for Rs. 49,999 (MRP Rs. 55,999), with various reductions potentially bringing the price down to Rs. 44,999. Official price information has yet to be announced.

The Moto Edge X30 was released in China for CNY 3,199 (about Rs. 37,700) for the basic 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro technical specs (expected)

According to previous sources, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro would have the same features as the Moto Edge X30. The phone is rumoured to ship with Android 12 and a 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and support for HDR+. It is also believed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. According to rumours, the processor will be coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is expected to sport a triple back camera configuration with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It is also expected to have a front-facing selfie camera sensor with a resolution of 60 megapixels.

Onboard storage on the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is rumoured to be up to 256GB. The phone might come with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W rapid charging.
