 MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor specs have leaked online, displaying performance comparable to the Snapdragon 888. Digital chat station, a well-known tipster, has given facts on the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip via a Weibo post. The chipset features four Cortex-A78 cores that run at 2.0GHz and can reach 2.85GHz at peak performance. Instead of the 4nm node seen in the Dimensity 9000 SoC, the Dimensity 8100 CPU will be developed on TSMC's 5nm node. The CPU is also built on the ARM V9 architecture rather than the X2 super core, resulting in the Mali G510 GPU rather as the Mali G710 GPU.

There are several concerns about the GPU between the Mali G510 and MAli G610 GPUs. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset is compatible with LDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The source also released benchmarks, which demonstrated a Snapdragon 888-like performance, with a debut date of June 2021. The GFX Bench ES 3.0 Manhattan benchmark yields roughly 170 fps, which corresponds to the Adreno 660 GPU score.
