The Realme GT 2 Pro was one of the first smartphones to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Now, Madhav Sheth, the vice president of Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme GT 2 Pro will soon launch in India via Twitter. Here's some more information about the world's first smartphone with a paper-like rear surface.

According to Madhav's most recent tweet, the Realme GT 2 Pro boasts one of the greatest flat screens among all smartphones. The tweet, "galaxy is full of stars and we constantly search for the brightest one," appears to be aimed at the recently announced Galaxy S22 series of smartphones, which are the first group of handsets in India to include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

Although he hasn't specified a date, the Realme GT 2 Pro is likely to be released in India by the end of February or early March 2022. Because the Realme GT 2 Pro is the company's first premium smartphone, it is also slated to be the most costly Realme smartphone to debut in India.

Specifications of the Realme GT 2 Pro

The Realme GT 2 Pro features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 3216x1440p (QHD+) resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC will power the smartphone, which will have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The phone will come pre-installed with Android 12 and a bespoke Realme UI 3.0 overlay on top. The Realme GT 2 Pro features a triple camera configuration on the rear, including a 50MP wide-angle, a 50MP ultra-wide angle, and a 2MP sensor for microscopic photography. The smartphone also boasts a 32MP front-facing selfie camera with HD video recording capability.

The Realme GT 2 Pro has a 5000 mAh battery with 65W rapid charging capabilities through the USB Type-C connection. The smartphone, however, does not allow wireless charging and lacks an IP classification for water and dust protection.

Realme GT 2 Pro Price Prediction

The Realme GT 2 Pro is projected to cost less than Rs. 50,000 in India, at least for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. While the top-of-the-line model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage may cost roughly Rs. 60,000.
