Lenovo has officially revealed the Legion Y90 gaming smartphone and Legion Y700 gaming tablet. Although the pricing and availability of the two devices will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 on February 28, Lenovo has released the design and features of its third-generation gaming handset and tablet ahead of the event. The Lenovo Legion Y90 comes with a 144Hz refresh rate display and is powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The phone is available in three different variants, the most expensive of which includes a RAID 0 setup with SSD and UFS 3.1 storage. The Lenovo Legion Y700 is powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC. Lenovo has unveiled the specifications of the Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming smartphone and Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablets in a Weibo post. Lenovo Legion Y90 technical characteristics

The Lenovo Legion Y90 features a 6.9-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED (2,460x1,080 pixel) display with a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a pixel density of 388 pixels per inch (ppi). The phone has vapor-chamber (VC) cooling and a 3,520mm square heat dissipation surface.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC powers the Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming smartphone, which is coupled with up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The new Lenovo Legion Y90 features a dual back camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor for optics. Lenovo has included a 16-megapixel camera sensor for selfies.

Specifications for the Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet

The Lenovo Legion Y700 has an 8.8-inch LCD (2,560x1,600 pixel) display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 500 nits. DC dimming, HDR10, and Dolby Vision are all supported by the panel. According to Lenovo, the tablet has VC cooling and an 8,500mm square heat dissipation surface. The new Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The Lenovo Legion Y700 has a 13-megapixel back camera sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie sensor for optics. The tablet has a storage capacity of up to 256GB through UFS 3.1. A microSD card may be used to extend the storage (up to 1TB).

Wi-Fi 6, microSD, Bluetooth v5.1, 3.5mm audio jack, OTG, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity possibilities.
