Lenovo Legion Y90 Gaming Phone and Lenovo Legion Y700 Gaming Tablet to be Unveiled at MWC 2022: Price and Specs

In China, the Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming smartphone and Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet have been released. Last week, Lenovo teased the full features of the gaming smartphone and tablet. The Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The Snapdragon 870 SoC will power the Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet, which will be coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The Lenovo Legion Y90 and Y700 now include VC cooling for improved heat dissipation.

Lenovo Legion Y90, Lenovo Legion Y700 price, availability


The Lenovo Legion Y90 costs CNY 3,999 (about Rs. 47,800) for the 12GB + 256GB storage model. The 16GB + 256GB storage model costs CNY 4,299 (about Rs. 51,400), while the 18GB + 512GB storage variant costs CNY 4,999. (roughly Rs. 59,800). The Lenovo Legion Y700 begins at CNY 2,199 (about Rs. 26,300) for the 8GB + 128GB storage model and CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 29,900) for the 12GB + 256GB storage option.

The Lenovo smartphone is available in a single Grey colour choice, while the Lenovo gaming tablet is available in Blue and Beige. The new offerings' availability in worldwide markets, including India, has yet to be disclosed.


Lenovo Legion Y90 specifications


As previously said, Lenovo teased the full specifications of the Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming smartphone. It is powered by the Android-based ZUI 13. It has a 6.9-inch Samsung E4 (1,080x2,460 pixel) AMOLED display with 1,300 nits of peak brightness, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a pixel density of 388ppi. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which is paired with up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It also has VC or vapour-chamber cooling with a heat dissipation area of 3,520 square millimetres.


The Lenovo Legion Y90 has a dual rear camera configuration that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Lenovo has included a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

Lenovo's gaming smartphone comes with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The 18GB RAM model features a RAID 0 storage strip with 128GB of SSD storage. The Lenovo Legion Y90 has Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth v5.2, OTG, and two USB Type-C ports for connectivity. Along with Dolby Atmos support, the handset has a dual X-axis linear motor.


It has a dual-cell 5,600mAh battery with 68W rapid charging capabilities. The Lenovo Legion Y90 has dimensions of 177x78.4x10.14mm and weighs 252 grammes.

Lenovo Legion Y700 specifications



Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet is powered by ZUI 13, which is based on Android. It has an 8.8-inch LCD (2,560x1,600 pixel) display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 500 nits. It also supports DC dimming, HDR10, and Dolby Vision. The gaming tablet has VC cooling and a heat dissipation area of 8,500 square millimetres. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 870 SoC and up to 12GB of RAM.

The Lenovo Legion Y700 has a 13-megapixel back camera sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie camera for optics. The tablet has a storage capacity of up to 256GB through UFS 3.1. A microSD card may be used to extend the storage (up to 1TB).
