On February 28, Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i and Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptops were introduced at MWC 2022. These laptops, aimed at college gamers, will be available in 15-inch and 16-inch display sizes. Customers will also be able to have the laptops with either (up to) 12th Gen Intel Core i7 CPUs or AMD Ryzen 6000 Series chipsets. Lenovo claims that the new machines have enhanced cooling components for quieter gameplay and that a model with a WQHD+ display is available. Lenovo claims that the new IdeaPad laptops are powerful enough to handle both gaming and education. The Chinese manufacturer has also released the Legion M600s Qi wireless gaming mouse.

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i, Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 price, availability


Lenovo has announced that these laptops are now available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

The 16-inch Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i laptop with Intel Core CPU will cost EUR 1,099 (approximately Rs. 92,600) and will be available in Onyx Grey starting in June.

The 16-inch IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop with AMD Ryzen 6000 Series CPUs will likewise start at EUR 1,099 and will be available in Onyx Grey starting in July.

Similarly, the 15-inch Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i laptop with Intel Core CPU will start at EUR 999 (approximately Rs. 84,200) and will be available in Glacier White and Onyx Grey colour choices beginning in May.


The 15-inch IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop with AMD Ryzen 6000 Series CPUs will also start at EUR 999 and will be available in Glacier White and Onyx Grey colorways beginning in June 2022.

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i specifications


The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i laptop is available in two sizes: up to 15.6-inch WQHD (2,560x1,440 pixel) IPS display with 16:9 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate, and 350 nits of peak brightness, and up to 16-inch WQHD+ (2,560x1,600 pixel) IPS display with 16:10 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits of peak brightness. The laptops have 12th Generation Intel Core i7 H-series CPUs, up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM (3,200MHz), and up to 1TB PCIe NVMe (M.2) SSD storage.

The 15-inch IdeaPad Gaming 3i variant has a smaller 60WHr four-cell battery and Rapid Charge technology, which claims to charge 40% of the battery in 15 minutes. The weight of the laptop begins at 2.4kg, while the thickness begins at 21.8mm.
The IdeaPad Gaming 3i laptop's 16-inch variant has a bigger 71WHr four-cell battery, and its Rapid Charge technology is said to charge up to 50% of the battery in 30 minutes. It has a starting weight of 2.5kg and a thickness of 20.9mm.

Furthermore, both versions will have (up to) an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM, as well as the possibility of an Intel Arc Graphics GPU. The Nahimic Audio 3D sound system and Lenovo's distinctive gaming keyboard, with optional 4-zone RGB illumination on certain models, are standard on the IdeaPad Gaming 3i laptops.

The connectivity choices and ports on all four laptops are the same. For connectivity, they support up to Wi-Fi 6 and (beginning with) Bluetooth v5. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB Type-A) slots, an audio jack (microphone and earphone), a USB 3.2 Gen 2 (USB Type-C) port, an HDMI 2.0 port, and an RJ-45 connector are among the ports. The Thunderbolt 4 connection port is not available on the IdeaPad Gaming 3 notebooks.

Furthermore, Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 series laptops use quad vent thermal technology, which is said to provide quieter, more efficient cooling performance than its predecessor. Lenovo also says that fan airflow from the vents has increased by 10%. On the 16-inch variants, there is also a full-HD webcam with a privacy shutter. Lenovo has teamed up with Microsoft on Windows to provide clients with three months of Xbox Game Pass.


Lenovo Legion M600s Qi wireless gaming mouse price, features


The new Lenovo Legion M600s Qi wireless gaming mouse is priced at EUR 99.99 (about Rs. 8,500) and will be available in July 2022. Lenovo claims that the mouse outperforms prior versions in terms of performance, accuracy, and ergonomics. It boasts a short, low arch and a slender waist, as well as mirrored-textured side grips and an ambidextrous design to accommodate claw-grip and fingertip players.

Lenovo Legion M600s includes Optical Pixart 3370 sensor technology, a resolution of up to 19,000 DPI, and a maximum movement speed of 400 IPS. The mouse has six customizable buttons, and Lenovo claims that the optical micro switches have an 80 million click lifespan. Other features include 16.8 million RGB lighting choices that are completely configurable.

The Lenovo Legion M600s mouse has 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, USB 2.0 (dongle), and USB Type-C cable connectivity. It has a 380mAh battery that is said to provide up to 70 hours of playback. Lenovo says that it takes two hours to completely charge and can last up to ten hours after a rapid 10-minute charge. The mouse may be charged via the Qi-enabled base of the Lenovo Legion S600 Gaming Station (available separately) as well as a USB Type-C connector.
