Elden Ring will be available for PC gamers to play on February 25 at 4:30am IST / February 24 at 11pm GMT, according to developer FromSoftware. Meanwhile, the game will be available to console players on February 25 at midnight. According to the company, this implies that gamers in India will be able to start playing the game on Xbox and PlayStation consoles a bit sooner, at 12am (midnight) on February 25.
Elden Ring will be available to preload on PC and PS5 48 hours before each region's release window, according to the tweet. Meanwhile, According to FromSoftware, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X owners may pre-load the game straight immediately. Last week, developer FromSoftware released the minimum and recommended PC specs for Elden Ring.
Elden Ring, set in the Lands Between, will lead players on a mission to find the Great Runes in order to restore the Elden Ring and become an Elden Lord. Elden Ring features a linear beginning, but like with many open-world sandbox games, players will be able to freely explore the Lands Between as they proceed through the game, moving across six primary locations via a central hub akin to the Firelink Shrine in Dark Souls. Hidetaka Miyazaki directed the game in partnership with Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, who provided material for the game's mythos.
Pre-orders for the game begin at Rs. 2,499 for PC players, Rs. 2,999 for the Deluxe edition on Steam, and Rs. 3,999 for the console version on the Xbox and PlayStation Store. Elden Ring is available on disc through Amazon India, Game Loot, Games the Shop, and Prepaid Gamer Card.
