Call of Duty: Mobile Earns the Most Money in Lifetime Microtransactions, Crossing the $1.5-Billion Mark

According to the most recent Sensor Tower statistics, Call of Duty: Mobile has exceeded the $1.5 billion (approximately Rs. 11,265 crore) sales record in lifetime microtransactions. The game has reached this revenue milestone in terms of lifetime expenditure on both Android and iOS. Call of Duty: Mobile was released in 2019 by Tencent's Timi Studios in collaboration with Activision. According to Sensor Tower, the United States is the top country in terms of income spent on Call of Duty: Mobile, with more than $647 million (approximately Rs. 4,855 crore).

According to Sensor Tower, Call of Duty: Mobile has reached $1.5 billion in lifetime microtransaction earnings on the Android and iOS platforms. The mobile shooter from Activision and Timi Studios is rated 14th in the world in terms of revenue generation, and third in the mobile shooter category, trailing only PUBG: Mobile and Garena Free Fire.

Since the release of Call of Duty: Mobile in 2019, the mobile shooter genre has allegedly risen, with player expenditure expected to increase by 50% year on year (YoY) to $5.7 billion in 2020. (roughly Rs. 42,793 crore). In 2021, the game increased by 10.5 percent year on year to $6.3 billion (roughly Rs. 47,309 crore)

According to Sensor Tower, 2021 is the highest full-year performance for Call of Duty: Mobile, with player expenditure increasing by 45 percent year on year. Activision's mobile shooter's sales surged once the game was eventually released in China in 2020. In 2021, Call of Duty: Mobile grossed $104.5 million (approximately Rs. 784 crore) in China's app marketplaces.

As previously stated, the United States is the biggest spender in terms of global revenue, with Call of Duty: Mobile earning more than $647 million — or 43 percent of overall player expenditure. The top three spenders in the game are the United States, Japan, and China.
