Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro with Snapdragon 888+ SoC are now available in India: price and specifications.

On Tuesday, Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro were released in India. The top-tier Snapdragon 888+ SoC, combined with the Adreno 660 GPU, powers the two gaming smartphones. The Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro have a 6.78-inch full-HD+ Samsung AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. Both phones include a 6,000mAh battery and a triple back camera system. The Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro were released internationally in August of last year.

Price of Asus ROG Phone 5s and Asus ROG Phone 5s Pro in India

The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the Asus ROG Phone 5s costs Rs. 49,999, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs Rs. 57,999. The Asus ROG Phone 5s Pro, on the other hand, costs Rs. 79,999. The Asus gaming smartphones will be available on Flipkart on February 18. The Asus ROG Phone 5s is available in Phantom Black and Storm White, while the ROG Phone 5s Pro is only available in Phantom Black. The gaming cellphones made their global debut in August of last year.

Specifications for the Asus ROG Phone 5s and Asus ROG Phone 5s Pro

The dual-SIM (Nano) Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro are powered by Android 11 and include the ROG UI. Both have a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,448 pixel) Samsung AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1ms reaction time, 24ms touch latency, HDR10+ compatibility, and a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. The 2.5D curved glass of both gaming smartphones is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. A Pixelworks i6 processor is in charge of the display. The ROG Phone 5s Pro also includes a tiny PMOLED display with ROG Vision on the rear panel.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC and Adreno 660 GPU power the Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro. The former has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, while the latter has 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro both have triple rear camera configurations. A 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.0 aperture are included. They receive a 24-megapixel camera with an f/2.45 aperture for selfies and video calls. They also include twin front stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity choices on the Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro. GNSS GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou, QZSS, NaviC, accelerometer, e-compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, under-display fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, and ultrasonic sensors for AirTrigger 5 and grip press are among the onboard sensors.

The Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro come with dual-cell 6,000mAh batteries that allow 30W rapid charging. They both have dimensions of 172.83x77.25x9.9mm and weigh 238 grammes.
